Purposes
	To exist with an air of independence and individuality yet with the common bond of adhering to the ancient ideals of the University of Pittsburgh Varsity Marching Band. To strive for the high ideals inherent in the pursuit of knowledge Above and throughout all, to form a camaraderie through the mutual participation in fraternal activities...SO MOTE IT BE!

Functions

To provide and produce a social outlet for the members of the Pitt Band by conducting various activities and social events throughout the year. To act as a clearinghouse for comments, complaints, and suggestions from former members and alumni, as well as new and prospective members of the Pitt Band. To act as a liaison between the members of the Pitt Band and the rest of the student body of the University of Pittsburgh.
